What is included in the price of my kitchen?

The kitchen price will identify all furniture, installation, appliances included worktops and installation.  It will highlight responsibilities allowed for and provide clarity on other aspects such as decorating, room preparation, tiling, and waste removal if these need to be considered.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms will be advised on the written quotation.  This will normally include a payment with order and details of further payment required before and/or after works completion. Details of further payments required during and/or after works completion depending on the scope/duration of project will be itemised in your proposal

Can you design a kitchen for any size room?

Designed Interiors has a very large range of cabinetry sizes available.  In addition, we can produce bespoke furniture sizes to suit the room architecture allowing a truly individual design and manufacture service for your new kitchen.

Would I have to move out during installation?

The installation of a new kitchen and utility room area is a significant investment in the heart of your home.  Our designer will discuss the process from preparation to completion with realistic timescales to achieve these works.  Inevitably there will be some disruption to the use of a functional kitchen.  Where possible it may be possible to phase works to provide temporary cooking/working solutions.  It may also be possible to co-ordinate works with holidays to lessen the impact on your home.

how long will it take to install my kitchen?

Once the room is fully prepared with plumbing and electrical points in their correct location, floor screed, tiling and decoration, the kitchen installation can commence.  First fix will typically take between 5-10 days depending on kitchen size and complexity.  Quartz/granite templating will usually occur at the end of the first fix phase and will take a further 10 days to manufacture typically.

Once these are installed, 2nd fix can commence to include appliance connection, sinks, taps, hobs and lighting.  This can normally be completed within a few days.

Will my goods have a guarantee?

Yes, all products purchased through us will come with a manufacturers guarantee. 

Will i have to manage my own project?

Our Designer will forge a close relationship with you throughout and can guide on all budget and design options and technical points as they arise.

how long will my bathroom take to fit?

The installation of your new bathroom will typically take around 7 - 14 days.

What happens to my old Kitchen?

Your old kitchen can be removed and disposed of if requested or perhaps re-used where appropriate in other parts of the property such as the garage or spare room.

can i use my own fitters?

Yes - If you would like to use your own fitters we can cater for that.
